The new Team Australia head coach Paula Klamburg Roque and the new assistant coach will look forward to working with all the athletes and building a strong team for the 2023 Fukuoka World Championships in July.
The Team Australia Junior and Youth trials for 2023 will be held virtually.
Athletes can express an interest in participating in trials by completing their details on this link.
This year, the Team Australia Pathway coaching team will be led by Krisztina Szedlak, Emanuelle Mah, Rebecca Maher, and Ana Mendigutxia.
There is very little information from FINA on the 2023 calendar and the key benchmark event for the year, so we have not been able to finalise the programme dates.
We envisage camps in January, April, June, and September, depending on the FINA event dates. We will get back as soon as we know more.
Costs will be affected by the date, location, and camps associated with the benchmark event, but we are committed to capping the Junior and Youth Squad costs to $11,999.
We are also launching the Team Australia Emerging Squad for athletes under 13 on the back of the Brisbane 2032 Talent Identification camps.
This will be the inaugural year for the underpinning squad, which Krisztina Szedlak and Alexandra Del Sorbo will lead.
