Support for Performance Clubs Centre of Excellence Announced

Support has been announced for Performance Clubs Centre of Excellence which has exciting new talent aged under 15.
Athletes associated with recognised Performance Clubs across the country will now receive up to $250 a month of direct support towards individual one-to-one coaching or other approved performance support.
The Athlete Talent Pathway has the National Centre of Excellence Training Centre as its pinnacle. this is underpinned by the excellent work that clubs do across the country. A new programme has been launched which identifies Performance Club Centre of Excellences (CoE) around the country, which can provide:
- A significant number of training hours while making training fun and engaging
- High-level technical coaches
- Additional expert support services:
- Champion Mindset by world-renowned coach Allistair McCaw
- Performance Psychology with Abraham Garfield
- Sports Physiology
- Strength and conditioning with Alex Hynes
- Sports Nutrition
- Access to identified talent funding support from ASA. Duets and Athletes (under 15 years of age) that achieve the top three results in solo events at the Australian National Championships, Australian Virtual Championships, or Team Australia Youth/Emerging Trials receive funding support through the Performance Club.
- Approved Performance Centre of Excellences also has a fast track to Team Australia through Talent identification initiatives; this is underpinned by the use of the Athlete Management System (AMS), which records performance, health, and well-being data.
