Road to Lima: Junior Artistic Swimmers prepares for World Championships

Published Wed 14 Aug 2024

While the world's attention is focused on the Paris Olympics, Australia's Junior Artistic Swimming squad is hard at work preparing for the Junior World Championships in Lima, Peru.

The team recently wrapped up a highly productive training camp at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) in Canberra earlier in July. The world-class facilities provided the perfect environment for these young athletes to elevate their skills. A key highlight was a collaborative session with Gymnastics ACT, where they focused on enhancing their acrobatic abilities. This partnership has been instrumental in developing this crucial aspect of artistic swimming.

As the countdown to the World Championships begins, the team will be back in Brisbane end of this week for a final preparation before departing for Peru.

We wish the team all the best as they embark on this exciting journey.

Make your splash in Lima
