After the Australian National Championship, Perth hosted the 'Going For Gold ' Camp at HBF Stadium on the 11-13th April with great success.

In total, over the three days, thirty-one (thirteen & under) athletes participated in the camp, and they enjoyed world Class coaching and support from Alexandra Del Sorbo, Jessica Galt, Izzy Smith and Olympian Alessandra Ho.

With a few workshops, including nutrition and a focus on drama and artistic impression. The Olympian Alessandra Ho went into detail with the athletes about her experience as an Olympian, which was sure to inspire a few younger athletes with dreams for the Brisbane games. The new 'Boys in Artistic Swimming' program also got off to a great start with two boys included in the group.

Junior National Coach Alexandra Del Sorbo commented, "It has been a very busy week between the National championship and now the Going For Gold camp in Perth. The athletes were tired but still full of enthusiasm and participated with great engagement until the end. Hopefully, every day more athletes are going to be interested in this wonderful discipline and we can bring a great team to the Brisbane Olympic Games.
