2022 FINA Youth World Championships
Early Sunday morning, the Youth Australian National Team, along with coaches Krisztina Szedlak & Ana Mendigutxia arrived in Charlotte, North Carolina after more than 24 hours travelling.
The team pushed through the jet lag for training on Monday, getting familiarised to the new environment & finalising the last details of their routines.
The athletes are excited to be surrounded by the best teams in the world & are eager to start the competition! Their goal is to show the world the new generation of Australian Artistic Swimmers. They are swimming a version of the 2016 Olympic Free team showcasing the strength & fierceness of the young group.
Competition begins on the 10th August and finishes on the 14th with a Gala event. The team are competing in Figures, Free Solo, Free Duet & Free Team as well as performing in the Gala.
