ASA NEW Foundation coaching course (Assistant Coach)

We are excited to announce we will be launching our new pivotal entry level online coaching course - Foundation Coach Education course (Assistent Coach).

The Foundation Coach Education course is perfect for athletes, parents, schoolteachers who want to understand the basics of the sport and the general coaching principles.

The program is aligned to the basics of the Synchro Skills Skill Acquisition Program and related Skills Curriculum (Red and Orange Level).

 

Our FREE online Foundation coach course is delivered through the Artistic Swimming Australia eLearning Platform which provides great geographical and time flexibility.

  • Child Safeguarding in Sport Induction
  • Module 1: Role of Coach
  • Module 2: Legal Requirements
  • Module 3: Growth & Development
  • Module 4: Communication
  • Module 5: Teaching & learning
  • Module 6: Planning
  • Module 7: Orange skills
  • Module 8: Red skills
  • Module 9: Hypoxia


NEXT STEPS

How do you access the new course?

  • If you are a registered competitor over 12 years old, a coach, a judge, or an associate member you will get an email with access instructions.
  • If duplicated emails are used in membership portal, only one family member gain an access. If additional member wants to gain an access, please update your email address in your membership account and email vicki.n@artisticswimming.org.au for access.
  • You are also welcome upgrade your membership and email at vicki.n@artisticswimming.org.au for access.

How can I learn more?

  • Additional documentation to support course will be provided and will be available on new ASA website next week.
