Club Centre of Excellence
The Athlete Talent Pathway has the National Training Centre as it is the pinnacle. This is underpinned by several Club Centre of Excellence (CCoE) nationwide.
The aim of the CCofE is to provide world-class training venues for young athletes to develop in high-performance programme , while at home and in full-time education. The CCoE also provides an excellent opportunity for talent transfer high-level athletes from other sports into artistic swimming.
The benefits of the CCoE status from ASA are:
- A significant number of training hours while making training fun and engaging
- High-level technical coaches with support from the National Pathway Coach
- Additional expert support services:
- Champion Mindset by world-renowned coach Allistair McCaw
- Performance Psychology
- Sports Physiology
- Strength and Conditioning
- Sports Nutrition
- additional funding toward private coaching of ASA Next Generation athlete
- access to the Athlete Management System
- support services support and inclusion in high-performance projects, e.g., video analysis system, etc.
