SENIOR NT PROGRAM

• ASAI is interested in expanding the number of reserves on the Senior National Team for 2021 and that currently, these reserve positions are non-travelling medical reserve positions up to the 2021 Olympics. This is an opportunity for athletes to train alongside the Olympic Team, as members of the ASAI Senior Team. ASAI Senior National Team athletes will be reserve athletes and attend the program in full prior to the team's departure for Tokyo. This reserve will attend all camps but not competitions. 
• ASAI would like to ask for expressions of interest from any eligible athletes interested in the Senior NT Camp in December as a reserve. This is a unique opportunity to take part in the choreography camp for the Olympic Free Team routine.

This camp is a non-compulsory development opportunity for those interested in attending the trials. If you are interested in joining this camp, please complete the following online form. Due to the short notice of the camp, ASAI understands that not everyone interested in the program may be available for the December camp.

Please select the applicable option during your application:

• Attend December Camp and partake in a future trial process for the non-travelling medical reserve position.
• Not Attend December Camp but partake in the future trial process for the non-travelling medical reserve position.

Trials for the Senior National Team non-travelling medical reserve will be held in 2021. Trial details will be circulated shortly.

Important:

• The non-travelling medical reserve positions is not an Olympic nomination position.
• Attending December camp is not compulsory to be considered for the non-travelling medical reserve.
• This is an expression of interest, not an official nomination - the purpose of this form is for ASAI to determine possible numbers and collect contact info for anyone interested in being involved in the program and the December camp.

Cost

• The swimmer’s cost will be approximately $800-$1000.
• Costs involved include domestic travel and accommodation. 
• Travel and accommodation will be organised by ASAI.

Eligibility:

Athletes may nominate for the programs based on the following eligibility requirements:

• Athletes are aged 16+ as at 31/12/21.
• Interest in attending the Senior National Team non-travelling medical reserve trials to be held early in 2021. 

Submission

The online EOI needs to be submitted no later than 5pm (AEST) on SUNDAY 22nd November 2020 (NO LATE NOMINATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED).
