World Aquatics (AQUA) has confirmed that they will be running a World Aquatics AS Certification School (for Judges) for the Oceania region at end of April 2023. The Certification School will be hosted here in Australia by Artistic Swimming Australia (ASA). 

Event: World Aquatics AS Certification School (for Judges)

Date: 27^th - 30^th April 2023

Arrival: 27^th  of April afternoon (any time) 

Course date: 28-29 of April - full day and 30^th of April - half day 

Departure: 30^th of April - afternoon 

Course Schedule: TBC 

Location: AIS, Canberra 

Presenter: Ms Lianna Sottile (from World Aquatics)

Cost: $210 (includes accommodation at the AIS, breakfast, lunch, dinner, entry to workshop + exam for **eligible judges)

All current AQUA listed A and G judges are welcomed to attend to write the annual exam to maintain judging status with AQUA. ASA will provide financial assistance for all current AQUA listed Australian A & G judges attending. (further information regarding this will be provided to AQUA listed judges).

All other judges / individuals intending to attend will be fully self-funded. 

**Note: Individuals are responsible for checking their eligibility to sit for the exam at the end of the course. As per AQUA's manual, one must have passed the Advanced level judge course, logged sufficient judging hours in the year preceding the exam in order to be eligible to take the exam. 

Judges and Artistic Swimming enthusiasts of all levels are welcomed to attend the presentations, but due to AQUA's participant capacity requirements, we only have a few available spots for non AQUA listed judges who wish to participate in the event.
